Georgia Borkowski, also known as Georgia Owen, is a talented, beautiful 16-year old young woman who attends Allentown High School. She is a singer, songwriter, and has a passion for music.
Georgia recently recorded three songs and released them on August 13 at the House of Independents in Asbury Park.
In the documentary about Asbury Park called “Just Before The Dawn”, Georgia appeared in the documentary and provided the music for the movie trailer.

At 13, she met an adult band called Autopilot with whom she played numerous events.
She plays weddings, charity events, private parties, and festivals and is always looking for more opportunities to play.
It was evident Georgia was serious about her music so she began attending Lakehouse Music Academy.
Lakehouse has given Georgia incredible opportunities and the confidence to write her own songs.
She has written songs with Meg Cannon, Brother Andrew, Tor Miller, and Dani Bouchard. These songs were recently recorded and released on August 20, 2017.
Georgia described how it felt to take part in the Asbury Park documentary.
“Being part of the documentary “Just Before the Dawn” was a huge opportunity for me,” Georgia said.
“I performed a song made famous by U2 called “One” that was put on the trailer and at the end of the film, I was featured playing on the street and in the studio. Not only was it a humbling experience for me to see the whole film featured in the Asbury Park Film Fest but, I also got to watch icons of Asbury Park perform at the end of the premier — Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band and South Side Johnny were some of the artists.”
“After the release of my EP, I am coming out with a music video, shot in my hometown of Allentown for my song “Red No More.” I will be writing and recording more as well with Moto Record.”
Georgia has a passion for music.
“Something that has helped me grow in my music career was writing songs. When artists perform covers, they share the writers stories but when you are the writer, others start to connect with you. This is what I would tell musicians looking for the next step in their career. Once they start to write, all it takes is hard work and it will lead you somewhere.”
Georgia continues, “My songs were inspired by life events. I became serious about songwriting when I was 15. Then, I was lucky enough to record them in Lakehouse Recording Studio. My EP was released August 20th. My show was hosted by Moto Records at the House of Independents on the day of the release.”
Georgia is a very talented young woman. The support from her family has been unwavering.
“One of the biggest things that has helped me become successful is the support from my parents, Kelly & Wil Borkowski, and my sister, Hadley,” Georgia said.
“I know that they will always be there with an honest opinion and to hold up my confidence when something knocks me down.”
Wishing Georgia success and good fortune as she continues to pursue her dreams.
Georgia will be appearing this Sunday at The House of Independents.
